The Dexter Republican Committee will hold a “First Annual Belated Lincoln Day” rally, complete with a birthday cake, at the historic old Town Hall on Wednesday, March 31 from 7PM on. Professor Frary, who was the Republican candidate for US Congress in 2008, will introduce former US Army Drill Sergeant and successful businessman Jason Levesque, who is the Republican candidate for Congress this year against Mike Michaud (D-Bahama).
Also present at the informal event will be State Senate candidate Doug Thomas, State Rep candidate Fred Wintle, and State Senator Deb Plowman. All persons, including children, immigrants and Democrats, are invited to meet and question these candidates, who are asking you to elect them to run your government.
Professor Frary is a noted bon vivant and scholar whose major fields of study include political satire, military history and the Byzantine Empire. A proponent of sartorial elegance, the Professor will be happy to show you his hat. If you haven’t had the pleasure of hearing the Profesor speak, you really should.
For futher information, or to lodge a protest in advance of the festivities, please contact Gerry Rudmin at 270-6061.
